MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA & BOGOTÁ, COLOMBIA — October 2, 2026 —
PatientTrac today announced an international Breast Cancer Awareness initiative for PatientTrac Companion, the patient-facing mobile experience within the PatientTrac Clinical Intelligence Network, and introduced Lumi by PatientTrac as the patient-facing identity for Companion Idea AI.
The launch is designed around a simple premise: patients should be better informed, better prepared and better connected between visits. PatientTrac Companion brings the care plan, medications, appointments, symptom tracking, supported vitals, secure communication, education and recovery tools into a single patient experience across web and mobile.
Introducing Lumi by PatientTrac

Inside Companion, patients can Ask Lumi when they have an idea about what Companion should do next. Lumi is designed to understand the patient's requested outcome, recognize when an existing Companion capability already addresses the need, and prepare a concise product request for the PatientTrac team when something new is being requested.
Lumi is intentionally narrow in scope. It is a product-feedback assistant, not a diagnostic chatbot. Clinical questions remain with the patient's care team and PatientTrac's clinical workflows.
“Lumi gives patients a simple way to tell us what they need from Companion — and gives PatientTrac a structured way to listen, respond and keep improving the patient experience.”
Not a last-minute AI product
PatientTrac's current AI-assisted experiences sit on top of a clinical-information foundation that traces back to 1998. The company is positioning Companion and Lumi as extensions of that longitudinal clinical-data strategy rather than as stand-alone generative-AI products.
That history matters because PatientTrac's approach begins with the governed patient record, connected workflows and accountable human care. AI is used to assist specific tasks inside that framework rather than to replace clinicians or create a parallel clinical record.

▶Designed for patients and the organizations that care for them
PatientTrac Companion is intended to strengthen the connection between patients and participating care organizations. PatientTrac is also developing country-specific materials explaining potential reimbursement, procurement and funding pathways for remote and digitally supported care.
Those pathways are presented as potential opportunities only. Reimbursement, coverage, payment rates, coding, contracting and program participation vary by payer, provider, clinical use and jurisdiction and are never guaranteed.
An international PatientTrac story
The launch is being coordinated from Miami Beach, Florida and Bogotá, Colombia, reflecting PatientTrac's international launch strategy and its focus on patient engagement across North America, South America and Europe.
